In addition to the works of art on display at the museum, HR Giger's outstanding life, work and oeuvre are comprehensively illuminated by a large number of books, available both in the museum and in the webshop..

Eminent authors such as Stan Grof, Fritz Billeter, Carlos Arenas, Silvio Baviera and Andreas J. Hirsch have contributed to the history and interpretation of Giger's oeuvre, from Giger's youth and early work to the iconic work for director Ridley Scott's film “Alien”. HR Giger’s own books, on the other hand, show that the artist was also a profound and entertaining storyteller.

All publications are, of course, richly illustrated.
