Pictures from the life of HR Giger

The collection is supplemented by a series of new photos from the Giger family's vacation home in Flims, which show HR Giger's childhood and youth.

May 12, 2024 marks the tenth anniversary of Hansruedi "HR" Giger's death. This is still sad for all of us who were close to him. For this reason, we have decided not to hold a special event on that day. Instead, we will fill the museum and bar, and of course his grave below the museum, with roses that weekend. From May 4, 2024, we will once again be exhibiting pictures from HR Giger's life in our gallery. The collection will be supplemented by some new photos found in the Giger family's vacation home in Flims.

HR GIGER - The early years
To mark the tenth anniversary of HR Giger's death, Charly Bieler, Mia Bonzanigo & Walter Schmid have published the book "HR GIGER - The Early Years". As the title suggests, the book contains many photographs from HR Giger's childhood and youth.
